September

My birthday has come and gone, and this year September has been a truly beautiful month. The grey, miserable weather stayed away, and the sun shone on the leaves that have gradually changed colour.

...here are a few highlights...

// my birthday //

...with a spontaneous birthday party at the cafe...

... and flowers filling the house ...

... and Malcolm coming home a little early to spend some time together...

... and then a celebration with friends ...

// there were a few rainy, cloudy days //

... but they were followed by beautiful sunsets ...

// there were moments of discovery, like this little chapel in the city//

// and I celebrated heritage day in South Africa with my pearls, wind pompie, and Reiker shoes //

// we took advantage of the beautiful weather and cycled to Schloss Rauischholzhausen //

... and cycled back home through farms along grassy trails...

... and found Elisabeth's Brunnen...

... and found (poisonous) mushrooms where Smurfs could live...

... and took the most ridiculously overgrown roads through the forest, while losing trust in Google maps...

// we've been praying for Richtsberg in CenTral's 24/7 prayer week this week //

// and what is a post about an Autumn month without a tree-lined path of golden leaves? //

Now onto October, one of the busiest and challenging months!
