Eshowe, South Africa [part 1]

Our second week in South Africa, saw us headed to Eshowe to visit my parents and gran, and brother and V who were also visiting.

It was great to be greeted by an overexcited sausage-dog, and be back in my old room, in our own bed again. Mum had even gone to the extent of having beloved stuffed toys there to greet us.

It was fun rummaging through our boxes and seeing what we'd stashed away.

Besides spending time at home, we also enjoyed eShowe-things.

These photos are good for playing spot-the-jay-walker...

THE GEORGE HOTEL - live music

MADE AT HOME - the best coffee and cake on a Saturday morning

and then onto FORT NONGQAYI and VUKANI basket museum

On the weekend, ANI came to visit, and after hanging out at home, we decided to go out for coffee. Clearly I've been out of town for too long, since the only place I knew of other than Spur, was the Fort, again.

  1. Looks like you had a great time visiting family and friends! Love your bed with fuzzy little friends. :) Very pretty forest, and I also love those big pots in front of the museum! I bet the everything inside was gorgeous as well!
