The Bentleys Abroad {part 2}

Friday we set off on the great Marburg Trek to show mum and dad some of our favourite places here.

We walked down from Richtsberg, through town and past Elizabeth's Kirche, through the Oberstadt and finally up to the castle. We had a picnic up there in the park, and then came back down again and caught a bus home to prepare for Malcolm's Birthday celebration. Busy day, but such a good one!

Down the hill from Richtsberg.

The Lahn at Erlenring.

Heading into the Oberstadt

At the Markt Platz.

On the way up to the Schloss.

Who doesn't want to be swept off their feet by their prince outside a castle...?

Lunch in the park.

  3. It is! I've so often imagined walking with them and having their company as I walk down the hill, that it's so nice to finally get to do just that!
