16 June - Father's day!!!

I'll probably add to this post this evening, or post again later, but for now....
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to our most loving and wonderful dads!!!

Malcolm says: "It's just not the same when Erica punches

"Sending you lots of love and manly hugs!"

Erica says: "Would love to give you a BIG
 hug like this one!!"

"and a kiss so big it seems to scare you!!"

So we made it to church today! It takes 30 minutes by tram, and it was easy enough to get to. As we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed, and the man pointed out another South African. It's an international church and everybody there was so different from one another, yet it felt really homely and people seemed so genuine and the community-vibe was definitely there :)
After the service, we headed over to Nick, the South African, and introduced ourselves. He introduced us to his sister and his wife, and later another South African/Zimbabwean. They were SO helpful and Jackie let me try her simcard in my phone, and it seems like it works, so spending 10euros on a simcard hopefully won't be a waste ;) We stayed and chatted for ages, it felt so familiar and it was so nice to meet new people. It's great to feel at home somewhere and get knitted into a family, a group of like-minded people who love the Lord.
Really happy and thankful that prayers have been answered (over and over and over and over and over and over again....) and we've found a church that is likely to be our home-church for the next 4 months :D
